- 2. Once upon a time there was a king and a queen who lived in a big castle with her beautiful daughter
- 3. One night an ugly ogre captured the beautiful princess.
- 4. He locked her up in his tall, dark tower.
- 5. The king and the queen were very sad. They promised a bag of gold to the knight that rescued the princess
- 6. All the knights in the land wanted to rescue the princess
- 7. They rode to the tower as fast as they could.
- 8. The ugly ogre roared angrily when he saw the knights. And they rode away very fast
- 9. One day a friendly dragon heard the princess cry for help. He flew down to the tower, took a big fiery breath and blew the ogre far away
- 10. The dragon rescued the princess from the tower and put her on his strong back. They flew high in the sky
- 11. The dragon and the princess flew to the castle. The king and queen were so happy to see the princess they gave the dragon the bag of gold. They all lived happily ever after.
